Moisés Caicedo did not forget his beginnings and congratulated Independiente del Valle after qualifying for the CONMEBOL Sudamericana final.
“Congratulations, guys! Well deserved win, good luck in the final. May the Cup stay in Ecuador. The whole country is proud of you. Let’s go, Independiente del Valle”, Moi wrote on his Twitter account.
Caicedo, who signed for Brighton after leaving Independiente, is always aware of what his former club is doing. He now hopes to celebrate the title from a distance.
Another who joined the celebrations was Miguel Ángel Ramírez. The Spaniard was the DT that led Independiente to their first title in the 2019 Copa Sudamericana.
“Many congratulations Independiente for this new South American final. This team has forged something special for many years to come. Stay true to what makes you a different club,” he posted on his Twitter account.
When Ramírez was the coach of the negriazul, Martín Anselmi, the current coach, was his assistant.
